March Top 10 #theusiscooltoo
I don't know about y'all but I'm so ready for some warm weather. It snowed a few too many times in March but we managed to get down south to enjoy some BBQ and hiking on the Appalachian Trail (more on that later). With spring break and St. Patrick's Day, March seemed like a busy travel month! The hashtag project grew even more with over 1,700 photos in the gallery now. Thank you for helping me spread the word! Here are my fav 10 photos from #theusiscooltoo in March.

I've heard so many good things about Door County, Wisconsin in the past year. I really hope I get up there one day and hang out with all the fun Wisconsin grammers I've "met" since my Milwaukee trip.
I met Julianne Taylor of Taylor Burke Home at The Southern C Summit a few years ago in Charleston, South Carolina. She is a fabulous designer so of course, she was at Modernism Week in Palm Springs recently. I'll get there one of these days One of these days to soak up all the sunshine and photograph all the pretty doors. I'm so excited to have her on board sharing her travels around the USA. Thank you, Julianne!
I'm a sucker for old movie palaces and historic theaters. This marquee in Ann Arbor is reminding me I still haven't visited Michigan yet. Shameful, I know.
I had no idea there was climbing in Indiana until we moved here. Thanks for sharing this one Caroline!
Palm trees and sunsets get me every time. Have you been to Hilton Head? It reminds me so much of my hometown of St. Simons Island, Georgia.
I love unusual roadside attractions, my favorite being South of the Border on the North & South Carolina border. Maegan recently did a fun round up of the strangest roadside attractions in the USA on her blog the Wanderlust Dietitian. Check it out here.
The City Museum in St. Louis has been on my Midwest to do list for way too long! It's basically the most epic playground made out of salvaged materials. Have you been?
Nakalele Point in Maui is a popular hike on the west side of Maui (past Kapalua) known for the famous blowhole and heart shaped rock. The hike is relatively easy but be mindful of your steps because the rocks can be quite slippery. This article has some tips for finding the blowhole.
Camping this time of year is awesome because the bugs aren't out yet, a fireside beer at dusk is absolute perfection, and you can still sleep comfortably in your sleeping bag.
